VPN on iPhone: how to set it up
On iOS the connection works through third-party clients from the App Store. We do not have our own app yet — the configuration copies out of your account and goes into the client with one button.
Which apps will do
In the App Store, Karing and V2Box speak our protocols. Both are free, and neither has anything to do with us: we do not develop them and do not recommend them in exchange for anything. The choice is narrower here — Apple does not admit everything that exists on Android.
Which protocol to pick
The same rule applies on an iPhone as on any phone: Hysteria2 on mobile data, VLESS Reality where the link is stable. Both are on every one of our servers, and switching costs nothing — it is simply a different configuration in the same app.
Battery use
The tunnel is held by the iOS system VPN interface rather than by the app, so running in the background costs less than you might expect. Noticeable drain comes not from the tunnel itself but from constant reconnections — that is, from a poor link, which is one more argument for Hysteria2.
Common questions
- Will it work on an iPad?
- Yes, the same apps install on an iPad. It counts as a separate device: personal plans run five at a time.
- Do I need a jailbreak?
- No. The apps come from the App Store and use the standard VPN interface — the system asks for permission on the first connection.
